Kote mawashi -- a turning wrist-bend. Robert defends from Micah's wrist-grab. Notice that Robert is looking at Micah's eyes to watch for signs of pain even before Micah taps out.

This time, a take-down from a same-side wrist-grab. If you look in the mirror reflection on the left side, you can see that Micah is off-balance.

A defense from a double wrist-grab. Again, Micah is off-balance, this time bending forward. In fact, the only thing holding him up is Robert's hip -- much like the set-up for a standard hip throw.

Another defense from a same-side wrist-grab. Notice that Robert's knees are bent so he can continue to apply pressure. Micah is in pain here. This technique, applied to the fullest extent, would drive the attacker's face into the ground.
