July 1, 1997. Every year we give a demonstration on the main stage at the East York Canada Day celebration at Stan Wadlow Park, in East York. This event was special for East Yorkers, as it was the last Canada Day Celebration of the former Borough of East York, which was amalgamated into the new City of Toronto in 1997.
