On December 1, 1999, members of East York Hapkido-Karate Club's adult program had a board-breaking class at Secord Community Centre. Several white- and yellow-belt students had their first opportunity to break a 1/2-inch or 3/4-inch pine board. More experienced participants tried their luck at more complicated breaks.
